Affordable guitars from George Lowden: that sounds good!
The NAMM is always full of exciting announcements and special innovations. Yet there was one message in particular that caught our attention: master luthier George Lowden joins forces with Multi Grammy award winner Ed Sheeran, known for hits such as Shape of You, Thinking Out Loud and I See Fire, to jointly design high-quality guitars, with a very attractive price tag. And as it stands now, they succeeded with flying colours!
The shape of you (r new guitar)!
The line currently consists of 8 guitars, divided into two shapes that will be familiar to Lowden fans. First of all we see the S line, consisting of the S01, S02, S03 and S04. As the name suggests, these guitars are designed in Lowden's compact S-shape. In addition, there are also 4 W models, namely the W01, W02, W03 and W04. In terms of finish and specifications, the guitars are fairly similar. The difference is mainly in the types of wood for the tops and sound boxes, with or without a cutaway, and the element system. All guitars include a sturdy gig bag! Below is a brief overview.
