The Gibson J-45 Studio is the no-nonsense version of the most iconic slope-shoulder model: no binding, no frills, purely focused on tone and playability. The Studio Rosewood adds a special wood combination. Rosewood back and sides give the J-45 sound an extra layer of depth, definition, and sparkling highs that the mahogany version doesn't have. The Sitka Spruce top with scalloped X-brace responds openly and dynamically, and together with rosewood, this delivers a balanced, versatile instrument that works equally well for singer-songwriters and fingerpickers.

The Utile neck has an Advanced Response profile with a rosewood fretboard, MOP dot-inlays, and 20 frets over a 24.75-inch scale with a 16-inch radius. The integrated pickup makes the guitar stage-ready right away.
