The L-00 Special Satin in Wine Red: the small Gibson with a big personality
The Gibson L-00 Special Satin Wine Red is the same compact small-body as the Vintage Sunburst variant, but in a color that makes a statement. The matte Wine Red Satin finish is direct and idiosyncratic, perfectly matching the direct, characterful sound that defines the L-00. A Sitka Spruce top on solid mahogany back and sides delivers a warm tone with a mid-focus that works excellently for fingerpicking, blues, and intimate singer-songwriter work. The LR Baggs Element pickup makes the instrument immediately stage-ready.
The Utile neck has a SlimTaper profile with a rosewood fretboard, MOP dot inlays, and 19 frets over a 24.75-inch scale length. Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners and the rectangular rosewood bridge complete a small guitar with great character. Delivered with a premium soft shell case.
