The Fender Kingman Bass lets you hear and see acoustic warmth

Working out a bassline on the couch or playing together with an acoustic guitarist becomes extra inviting with the Fender California Deluxe Kingman Bass CE Natural. This electro-acoustic bass guitar combines a solid Sitka spruce top with a compact 30-inch scale length. The Natural finish leaves the wood visible and gives the Kingman, together with the ivory-colored binding and pickguard, a calm, classic look. The recognizable Jazz Bass headstock adds a typical Fender accent to that. Due to the shorter scale length, the frets are closer together than on a standard long-scale bass, which is pleasant when you are starting out or deliberately looking for a more compact instrument.

The solid top, laminated mahogany back and sides, and scalloped X-bracing form the basis for a warm acoustic sound with a clear attack. The phosphor bronze strings provide clarity, so your basslines sound not only low, but also clearly recognizable. Unplugged, the Kingman is suitable for practicing at home and trying out ideas. If you want to perform or play with a louder band, the built-in Fishman CD-1 preamp offers a practical solution. With volume, bass, and treble, you can adjust the amplified sound to the situation.

The mahogany neck has a Slim C profile and a satin urethane finish. The walnut fretboard features 20 frets, white dot inlays, and a 9.5-inch radius. The Micarta nut is 38.1 mm wide; the bridge saddle is also made of Micarta. Thanks to the cutaway, higher positions remain accessible for melodic parts. Furthermore, this Fender acoustic bass is equipped with a Modern Viking bridge, open-gear tuners, and phosphor bronze strings in .045 to .100. The Fishman electronics feature a built-in tuner and phase function. A glossy body finish completes the whole.

A natural look, a handy playing feel, and the option to continue amplified: this Kingman invites you to discover your next bassline.
