The Laney Richter RB3 brings your bassline to the forefront with targeted midrange control
From a practice session at home to a rehearsal or small gig: the Laney Richter RB3 brings your bass sound together in one easy-to-use combo. With 65 watts RMS, a specially designed 12-inch speaker, and a high-frequency horn, it provides a practical foundation for various playing environments. The kickback cabinet allows for tilted placement, so you can direct the amplifier towards yourself. You get not only a speaker at your disposal, but also connections for practicing, recording, and routing your sound to an external system.
The tone controls help you consciously shape the role of your bass part. With the three-band EQ, you can adjust the balance of lows, mids, and highs, while the parametric midrange control lets you search more precisely for the character of your instrument. This allows you to experiment with a fuller accompaniment sound or, conversely, place more emphasis on the definition of individual notes. The built-in compressor affects the dynamics and can add extra punch to your playing. It is an invitation to listen to what different settings do, rather than simply turning up the volume further.
The RB3 has one channel and High and Normal inputs that you can choose to suit your bass. The speaker configuration consists of one 12-inch custom driver and an HF horn, powered by 65 watts RMS. In addition to the EQ and compressor, there is an internal limiter. Via the effects loop, you can incorporate external effects into your setup. The AUX input is useful for music and backing tracks, and the headphone jack offers the option for private practice. With the XLR DI output, you can connect the amplifier directly to a PA system or recording console. This keeps your setup usable when the playing environment changes.
Are you looking for a bass combo that offers more than just a practice sound? The Laney Richter RB3 combines targeted tone control with practical connections and tilted placement. Grab your bass and discover which setting lets your next groove speak best.
