The Sandberg TT Anniversary celebrates forty years with Sparkle Black and active tone control
The Sandberg TT Anniversary Sparkle Black gives the familiar TT design a distinct anniversary identity. This four-string electric bass guitar is a 40th Anniversary edition featuring a custom color and a matching headstock. Beneath that unique finish lies an alder body with a pau ferro fretboard and a 34-inch scale length. For bassists looking for an instrument with a character of its own, but who also want to explore various tonal settings, this TT brings together Blacklabel pickups and an active/passive two-band EQ. The anniversary edition is therefore not just something to look at, but above all an invitation to play.
The Blacklabel pickups form the foundation of the amplified sound. With the two-band EQ, you can adjust the bass and treble separately, for instance when an accompaniment needs more fundamental weight or a rhythmic part requires a clearer attack. The option to play actively or passively gives you different starting points to compare with your amplifier and playing style. Your hands remain the deciding factor: fingerstyle, using a pick, and different playing positions each add their own emphasis. This allows you to search for a sound within pop, funk, and rock that supports the bass part without crowding out the rest of the band.
The alder body is combined with a pau ferro fretboard and the familiar 34-inch long scale length. The Sparkle Black custom color and matching headstock give this edition its recognizable appearance. The electronics consist of Blacklabel pickups and a two-band EQ with active and passive operation. A gig bag is included for transport to rehearsals, studio sessions, and gigs. This right-handed TT Anniversary thus couples a special anniversary character with a practical foundation for players who want to use their instrument both at home and on stage.
