The Alhambra 1C HT 3/4: the student guitar that gives young guitarists a fair start
The Alhambra 1C HT 3/4 is the smaller sibling of Alhambra's most recommended student guitar. With a scale length of 580 mm and a nut width of 48 mm, this instrument is especially suitable for young guitarists between 7 and 12 years old who are not yet ready for a full-sized instrument. Music schools and guitar teachers in the Netherlands and Belgium have been recommending the 1C series for years due to its playability and reliability. The action is set slightly lower than on the conservatory models, which makes playing more pleasant for beginners. And as with all Alhambra guitars: this instrument is truly made in Spain, by a company that has been building guitars with an eye for detail for more than fifty years.
The sound is clear and lively for a guitar of this size. The solid A+ cedar top responds quickly and provides a direct, warm tone suitable for classical playing and fingerstyle. The laminated mahogany back, sides, and neck complement the sound with a round, balanced tone. The combination of cedar and mahogany makes the 1C HT 3/4 versatile and enjoyable to play, even for longer practice sessions.
The rosewood fretboard offers a smooth playing experience. The Hybrid Terra finish is an environmentally friendly combination of gloss and wood that leaves the pores open, which benefits resonance and reduces the ecological footprint of the production process. The specifications are otherwise identical to the regular 1C HT. Supplied with gig bag.
A fair guitar at a fair price, especially for the young guitarist who wants to start seriously.
