The solid East Indian rosewood for the back and sides adds depth and clarity, with a well-defined bass and a bright upper voice. The cutaway provides access to the higher positions without compromising the acoustic properties of the instrument. The ebony fretboard offers a smooth, fast playing experience and is resistant to intensive use.

The solid mahogany neck has a 52 mm nut and a 650 mm scale length. The Fishman Flex M Blend system combines an undersaddle pickup with an internal microphone, controlled via a compact preamp with volume, tone, and blend controls.
