The classical guitar that puts ziricote on the map as tonewood for serious concert players
The Alhambra Luthier Ziricote is an instrument that stands out before you even play a note. The ziricote used for the back and sides is one of the most visually impressive woods used in guitar making: dark, with a pronounced grain that makes each example unique. But the Luthier Ziricote is more than just a pretty face. This is a handmade concert guitar from Alhambra's Luthier series, crafted in the workshops of Muro de Alcoy with the care and precision you'd expect from an instrument in this class.
The sound is powerful and defined. The solid cedar top responds quickly and produces a warm, direct tone with a rich midrange. The ziricote for the back and sides adds a striking clarity and projection that is less pronounced with rosewood. The result is a guitar with a wide dynamic range: soft and nuanced in pianissimo, full and present in forte. The Spanish heel construction ensures optimal transfer of vibrations from the neck to the body, which benefits resonance and sustain.
The neck is made of solid mahogany with an ergonomic profile for comfortable playability, even in higher positions. The ebony fretboard offers a smooth, fast attack and is resistant to intensive use. The nut measures 52 mm, which provides space for classic fingerstyle technique. The scale length is 650 mm. Gold tuning machines complete the look. Supplied with a hardshell case and D'Addario XTC44 strings (extra high tension).
For the guitarist who consciously chooses an instrument that stands out, both in sound and character.
