The Epiphone 150th Anniversary Crestwood Custom California Coral with genuine Gibson Mini Humbuckers and Tremotone vibrato
Epiphone is celebrating its 150th anniversary with a selection of limited edition models that reimagine the most iconic designs from its catalog. The Crestwood Custom first appeared in 1959 as Epiphone's first two-pickup solid-body, and for the anniversary edition, it returns in California Coral with the original batwing headstock and an upgrade that surpasses the regular Crestwood: genuine Made-in-USA Gibson Mini Humbuckers.
Those Gibson Mini Humbuckers are the distinguishing feature of this model. Bright, articulate, and open in character, they sound different from a standard ProBucker and give the Crestwood Custom a unique quality not found in the regular line. CTS potentiometers and a Switchcraft toggle switch ensure a high-quality signal path that allows the pickups' tone to shine through. The Tremotone vibrato tailpiece enables expressive playing, and the LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge maintains stable intonation even after using the vibrato.
Mahogany body and neck with 60s SlimTaper D-profile, Indian Laurel fretboard with Oval inlays, 22 frets on a 24.75" scale length, Wilkinson six-on-a-plate tuners, and nickel hardware. Includes an exclusive 150th Anniversary hardshell case with anniversary logo. Only 800 units per color will be produced.
The 150th Anniversary Crestwood Custom California Coral is a collector's item that you can also simply play.
