Epiphone 1963 Firebird V Maestro Vibrola Ember Red
Created in collaboration with the Gibson Custom shop, here is the Epiphone 1963 Firebird V!
Epiphone and Gibson Custom have teamed up once again to bring back a very special instrument: the 1963 Firebird V! This Epiphone is an authentic replica of the classic launched in 1963, designed by car designer Ray Dietrich. At the time, the Firebird was Gibson's very first neck-through guitar. It was used by legends such as Johnny Winter, Brian Jones, Eric Clapton and Keith Richards - to name a few!
This Epiphone variant delivers the same vintage Firebird specifications at a very accessible price. For example, the neck is made of mahogany and walnut, the wings are completely made of mahogany and the headstock of the Firebird is equipped with Kluson banjo tuners. The wraparound lightning bar bridge is remarkably stable and provides extra sustain, while the Gibson USA Firebird mini-humbuckers have the same crystal clear, urgent sound as the original. Including luxury hardshell case!
