The SlimTaper neck that puts early 60s speed in your hand

The Gibson ES-335 60s is the choice for the guitarist who prefers the sleek elegance of the early sixties over the full warmth of the late fifties. Where the 50s version feels imposing, the 60s is subtle and fast: an instrument that invites you to play and not stop. The Sixties Cherry nitrocellulose finish completes the picture.

The tone is shaped by a pair of calibrated T-Type humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets, reproducing the characteristic sound of vintage Gibson T-Top humbuckers: clear, articulate, and with a slight sharpness that is excellent for blues, rock, and jazz. The hand-wired 500k potentiometers and three-way switch give you complete control over your sound.

The semi-hollow body is made of three-ply maple/poplar/maple with a solid maple center block for feedback control and sustain. The mahogany neck has the distinctive SlimTaper profile: slimmer and faster than the Rounded C of the 50s. The bound rosewood fretboard has 22 medium jumbo frets with small block inlays. Grover Rotomatic tuners, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, and aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece complete the instrument. Delivered with a Gibson hardshell case.

For the player who wants speed, style, and vintage tone in one instrument.
