The Epiphone Hummingbird Deluxe EC Autumn Burst is the most complete version of the iconic Hummingbird that Epiphone has ever released. Developed in collaboration with the Gibson Custom team in Bozeman, Montana, this guitar combines a thermally aged solid spruce top with solid rosewood back and sides. This results in an instrument with the warm, full body of the traditional Hummingbird, complemented by the deeper bass and sparkling overtones characteristic of rosewood. The cutaway makes the higher frets effortlessly accessible, which makes this guitar particularly attractive for lead players.

The thermally aged top behaves acoustically like an instrument that has been played for years: more open, louder, and fuller than a conventional top. The scalloped X-bracing of quarter-sawn spruce further supports the projection. The mahogany neck with a rounded C-profile and dovetail joint fits comfortably in the hand, while the ebony fretboard with 20 frets and Mother of Pearl split parallelogram inlays underscore the premium appearance of this instrument. Gold hardware, Grover Rotomatic tuners, and a Gibson open-book headstock with MOP crown complete the picture.

For stage use, the Hummingbird Deluxe EC is equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC Bronze pickup with preamp and soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls. The guitar comes with the Epiphone Protector Ultralite case, a hybrid between a gig bag and a hardshell case with plush lining and padded shoulder straps. A 9V battery for the pickup is not included.
