The PRS Tremonti in Blue: the singlecut for those who want more than warm and friendly

Mark Tremonti and PRS have been working together for years, and the result of that collaboration is a guitar that stands somewhere outside the beaten path of the classic singlecut. The Tremonti started as an evolution of the McCarty model Mark played for a long time but grew into something of its own: a slightly thicker singlecut body that is optimally designed for rough playing styles, palm-muting, and everything in between. In Blue with a maple top, it is also visually a distinctive instrument.

The Tremonti humbuckers are specially voiced for more output, a tighter low end, and more definition at high gain. They sound powerful and direct but never lose the character and dynamics that characterize PRS pickups. The PRS Patented Tremolo gives the guitar an extra dimension: smooth and stable in use, and in combination with the PRS Locking tuners, it is particularly stable in tuning even with intensive tremolo use. Two volume and tone knobs give complete control over each pickup separately.

The Pattern Thin neck profile is faster and flatter than most singlecut necks and also makes the Tremonti suitable for technical, fast playing. The rosewood fretboard with 22 frets, 10" radius, 25" scale length, and Bird Inlays is familiar PRS quality. The mahogany body absorbs impacts and returns them as sustain, and at 4.18 kg, the guitar is solid without feeling heavy.

The PRS Tremonti Blue comes with a hardcase. For the guitarist who knows that a singlecut doesn't necessarily have to be gentle.
