Laney Prism Mini

The Laney PRISM MINI gives you a world of guitar sounds on your desk

Play guitar at your desk for a bit, develop a new idea or practice before you take to the stage: the Laney PRISM MINI keeps it nice and simple. This portable digital guitar amplifier combines stereo sound with amp models and effects in a compact enclosure weighing just 0.5 kg. You can get started right away with the 50 factory presets, inspired by the sounds of Laney artists such as Tony Iommi, Billy Corgan and Tom Quayle. There are also 50 user presets in which you can save your own favorite settings. This way, you don't have to search for that one great sound every time.

With 17 amp models, the PRISM MINI goes from crystal-clear clean to powerful high gain. The 32 effects offer plenty of room to experiment with drive, EQ, modulation, delay and reverb. A little reverb for an open chord progression, a rhythmic delay for melodies, or a combination for a distinctive sound: you choose how far you go. In addition to the amp and cabinet block, you can use up to six effects at the same time. You can also change the order via the app, so you can discover what different combinations do to your sound.

The two stereo channels each deliver 3 watts RMS, totaling 6 watts. The 1.77-inch color screen keeps you informed, while the volume and parameter controls are right at hand. The built-in tuner helps you tune, and with the headphone jack you can practice without disturbing those around you. Bluetooth 5.3 allows you to stream music from your phone. The free TONE-WIZARD app for iOS and Android lets you adjust your settings, manage and share presets, and use the drum machine. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery offers up to 14 hours of playing time; USB-C handles charging and audio I/O.

From your first practice session to trying out your own sound: the Laney PRISM MINI gives you plenty of options without taking up much space. Plug in your guitar, choose a preset and discover where your next idea takes you.
