The Markbass Little Mark AG 1000: Andrew Gouchée's Signature Sound in a Compact 1000-watt Head
Andrew Gouchée is one of the most influential bassists in the gospel and R&B world. As Chaka Khan's musical director, a regular collaborator with Prince and the New Power Generation, and a Grammy Award-winning producer, he has left an unmistakable mark on the sound of popular music for decades. When he encountered Markbass, it was an instant connection. The result of that collaboration is the Little Mark AG 1000: an amplifier head that captures his unique tone and dynamics in a chassis weighing less than 3.5 kilograms.
The sound of the AG 1000 is warm, defined, and extremely dynamic. The five-band EQ with Ultralow, Low, Mid, High Mid, and High gives you an exceptionally wide tonal range, from deep, round lows to bright, present high harmonics. The built-in limiter protects your sound without stifling dynamics, and the mute switch and footswitch connection make it ideal for live use. 1000 watts at 4 ohms means you always have enough power, regardless of the venue size.
The AG 1000 delivers 1000W RMS at 4 ohms and 600W at 8 ohms. Connections include Input, Line Out, Effects Loop, and Speaker Out (Speakon), with an optional footswitch for Mute and EQ. Controls include Master Volume, Line Out, Limiter, Mute Switch, Ground Lift, Pre/Post EQ, and the five-band EQ. Dimensions: 27.6 x 25 x 8.3 cm, weight: 3.2 kg. Power supply: 100/120V and 230/240V, 50/60Hz.
The Little Mark AG 1000 is an amplifier for bassists who know what they want and accept no compromises.
