The Nocaster that brings the birth of the electric guitar back to life
The Fender 75th Anniversary American Vintage II 1951 Nocaster is more than a commemorative model—it’s a meticulous reconstruction of the instrument that forever changed the electric guitar. In 1951, Fender released a guitar with no brand name on the headstock, and that mysterious ‘No-caster’ has since become one of the most coveted guitars in history. This anniversary model honors that legacy with unprecedented precision.
The pine body gives the Nocaster a characteristically open, resonant sound that immediately stands out: lightweight, yet huge in tone. The vintage-style Nocaster bridge pickup delivers that famous snappy, twangy attack that country and rockabilly guitarists have sought for decades, while the neck pickup adds warmth and body for jazz-like tones. The Soft V neck shape feels familiar to fans of vintage playability, and the 7.25" radius on the maple fretboard invites chord playing and bends in lower positions.
The neck is crafted from maple with a maple fretboard, 21 vintage frets, and black dot inlays. The scale length is 25.5" (648 mm). The vintage-style strings-through-body bridge with brass saddles contributes to the characteristic sustain and intonation. Kluson-style tuners ensure stable tuning with an authentic look. The electronics consist of one volume and one tone knob, controlled via a 3-way blade switch. A guitar that not only honors history but also plays it.
