Suhr Classic T Antique Trans Butterscotch with Swamp Ash body and Tinted Maple neck

The Suhr Classic T Antique Trans Butterscotch is a T-type guitar that carries the vintage story through to perfection. The Trans Butterscotch finish in aged nitrocellulose lacquer on the Swamp Ash body has a warm, amber glow that directly references the very first T-types from the early 1950s, and the Tinted Maple neck with Tinted Maple fretboard gives the instrument an authentic vintage character that you'll find in few other guitars in this segment. The Antique treatment completes the picture.

The Tinted Maple fretboard with 60's C Vintage Medium profile (.830-.950) plays comfortably and invitingly, with 22 medium Stainless Steel frets, dot inlays, and a 9-12 compound radius. Two Classic T-pickups via a 3-way switch with volume and tone, complemented by the SSCII noise cancelling system for a hum-free signal. Wilkinson 3-saddle bridge, Suhr locking tuners, weight 3.47 kg, scale 25.5, includes gigbag.

The combination of Trans Butterscotch, Swamp Ash, and a Tinted Maple-on-Maple neck is the most authentic T-type configuration Suhr builds. Swamp Ash gives the guitar an open, airy tone with a distinct high end, while the Tinted Maple fretboard gives a slightly warmer color than an untreated Maple variant. The result is a guitar that sounds and feels like a T-type should sound and feel.
