The Dingwall SP1 Ducati Pearl White is a quirky interpretation of a familiar bass concept. Dingwall took the recognizable lines and immediate usability of a classic Super P as a starting point, but added the brand's modern design philosophy. The result is a lightweight, expressive bass with a striking Matte Ducati Pearl White finish, a Matte Pablo pickguard, and the long, flowing lines of a multiscale neck. This is an instrument for bassists who value tradition but do not want to stay stuck in the past.

The combination of the Dual-P pickup at the neck and the FD3n pickup at the bridge delivers a broad and useful tonal palette. The neck position gives you a full, round foundation for soul, pop, and rock, while the bridge pickup adds extra definition and punch when you want your parts to cut through the mix with precision. With the four-position Quad-Tone pickup selector, master volume, and master tone, you can quickly switch between different voicings, from solid and direct to bright and articulate. The multiscale length helps the low strings respond with tightness and control.

The SP1 is built with an alder body and a one-piece maple neck with a comfortable Medium Thin C-profile. The rosewood fretboard has 22 frets, a 9.45-inch radius, and a multiscale length of 32 to 34.25 inches. The Dingwall ‘Minimalist’ one-piece bridge fits the practical, modern design of the instrument. Weighing in at 3.61 kg, this bass is easy to handle, both sitting and standing. The combination of the classic base, the active appearance, and the precise multiscale feel makes the Dingwall SP1 suitable for players who want to get maximum control out of their attack.
