In 1991, Kirk Hammett of Metallica asked ESP to build a special guitar — a singlecut with the features of his KH-2, adorned with graphic designer Pushead's iconic spider design. The KH-3 Spider became his weapon during tours for the legendary Black Album. Now, 30 years later, ESP is bringing this instrument back as an anniversary edition that stays true to the original, but with some significant upgrades.

Tonally, the KH-3 Spider 30th Anniversary is an absolute powerhouse. The specially designed EMG BoneBreaker pickups — Kirk's own signature elements — deliver an aggressive, cutting output perfect for the heaviest riffs and most explosive leads.
