The Bourgeois Touchstone OM Vintage: Indian rosewood and Alaskan spruce in a vintage-inspired OM
The Bourgeois Touchstone OM Vintage/TS is a collaboration between Bourgeois and Eastman. Dana Bourgeois personally selects, prepares, and approves the soundboards and bracings, then sends them to Eastman for finishing. The result is a vintage-inspired Orchestra Model guitar that sounds and plays like a guitar costing many times more.
The solid Alaskan spruce top with Adirondack scalloped X-bracing provides an immediate, dynamic response with an openness rarely expected from a new guitar. The solid Indian rosewood back and sides add warmth and complex harmonic content while keeping the bass notes balanced. The OM size offers the perfect balance between intimacy and projection: ideal for fingerstyle and singer-songwriters.
The mahogany neck with a V-profile, ebony fingerboard with snowflake inlays, Schaller Grand Tune nickel tuners, and an ebony bridge with ivoroid pins complete an instrument that is perfect in every detail. 20 frets on a 24.9-inch scale length. No pickup. Comes with a hardshell case.
