The Bourgeois Touchstone Standard Slope D: the slope shoulder dreadnought you won't want to give away
The Bourgeois Touchstone The Standard Slope D is hand-built in Lewiston, Maine, bringing together the classic slope shoulder dreadnought shape with modern materials and Bourgeois craftsmanship. The torrefied Sitka spruce top responds with an openness and warmth rarely expected from a new guitar, while the solid mahogany back and sides add warmth and a rich midrange.
The slope shoulder body gives the guitar a vintage character and a comfortable playing position, while the scalloped X-brace allows the top to breathe freely and enhances sensitivity to nuances in your attack. The Schaller Grand Tune nickel tuners ensure stable tuning and smooth playability.
The mahogany neck with ziricote fretboard, dot inlays, and a ziricote bridge with ivoroid pins complete an instrument that is perfect in every detail. 20 frets on a 25-inch scale. No pickup. Supplied with hardshell case.
The Touchstone Standard Slope D is the guitar that proves craftsmanship doesn't have to cost a fortune.
