The continuous maple center section and deeply resonant maple/poplar/maple sound stack on the soft archtop and back deliver on this guitar's promise of a resonant sound without feedback. Powered by a pair of signature humbucker™ pickups, the 57 Classic™ offers luscious, rich, layered tones at the neck. The 57 Classic Plus has overwound coils at the bridge for extra bite and twang. And the hand-wired tone circuitry ensures they're perfectly balanced. A cult favorite for a reason, the ES-339 howls as well as it wails.
