Rock 'n' roll in its purest form — Gibson Jake Kiszka SG Standard Faded Vintage Cherry
Jake Kiszka of Greta Van Fleet is one of the most distinctive guitarists of his generation, and his bond with the Gibson SG isn't a marketing gimmick—it's an artistic relationship that has shaped his playing. The Jake Kiszka SG Standard is built around the spirit of his beloved 1961 SG, featuring period-correct details and a few thoughtful modifications that make the instrument both authentic and reliable. Available in a limited run, handcrafted in Nashville.
The sound is exactly what you'd expect from an SG with T-Type humbuckers: incisive, dynamic, and full of character. The pickups deliver scorching highs, clear articulation, and a punch you can feel. The mahogany body and neck give the instrument a warm, resonant foundation, while the Slim Taper neck and rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets offer playability that invites expressive, unrestrained playing. Orange Drop tone capacitors refine the electrical circuit down to the smallest detail.
The guitar is equipped with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and a Sideways Vibrato cover that is decorative—internally blocked, just like on Jake's own '61, for the stability of a fixed tailpiece. Gibson Vintage Deluxe tuners with keystone buttons and a GraphTech nut ensure excellent tuning stability. The Faded Vintage Cherry gloss nitrocellulose lacquer gives the instrument an authentic, slightly aged look. Delivered in a black Modern hardshell case with Jake Kiszka logo, including a separately hand-signed backplate and a custom leather strap with metal coin-hanger.
A guitar for those who see rock 'n' roll not as a genre, but as a way of life.
