The Gretsch G5422TG Electromatic proving that twang and style are no compromise

This pre-owned Gretsch G5422TG Electromatic is one of those guitars where you immediately understand why Gretsch has such a loyal fanbase. Gold hardware, those distinctive hollow body looks, and a sound that fills the room as soon as you strike the first note. Technically checked by our luthier, so it's 100% ready to play.

The laminated maple hollow body provides an open, resonant sound with plenty of air and character. The two FT-5E Filter'Tron pickups deliver that typical Gretsch twang: bright and sparkling clean, but with enough bite when you crank up the amp. The Bigsby vibrato arm allows for smooth, subtle vibrato without compromising tuning. Whether you play rockabilly, country, indie, or classic rock, this guitar fits in effortlessly.

The maple neck with laurel fretboard features a Classic C-profile and a 12" radius, ensuring a familiar, comfortable playing feel. The 22 frets on a 24.6" scale give the guitar a slightly shorter string tension that contributes to its soft, pliable tone. The electronics offer two separate volume knobs per pickup, a master volume with treble bleed, a master tone, and a 3-position toggle switch. Its weight of 3.1 kg makes it pleasantly light for a hollow body. The Pearloid Hump Block inlays and vintage-style tuners complete the picture.

A pre-owned Gretsch with this character and condition is not something you come across every day.
