The 5-piece Maple/Walnut Super Wizard neck is one of the fastest Ibanez has ever produced. At only 17mm thick at the first fret, it literally disappears under your hand. The bound rosewood fretboard with White Sharktooth inlays and a 430mm radius invites fluid transitions between legato runs and heavy riff passages. Twenty-four jumbo frets give you the full range, and the locking nut combined with the Edge bridge keeps the tuning stable — even after the most aggressive dive bombs.

The pickup configuration combines an Infinity R humbucker at the neck with a V8 at the bridge. The V8 with Alnico magnet delivers the tight, articulate high-gain response for which the RG series is known, while the ceramic Infinity R neck pickup adds warmth and clarity for cleaner tones.
