The M80 from LR Baggs is more than just a soundhole pickup for western guitar. LR Baggs offers with the M80 a 3d Humbucker that not only picks up the sound of strings like most soundhole pickups. The sound of the wood is also well picked up by the M80, so you don't get the sound of an "electric guitar" (as is the case with many soundhole pickups). You can use the M80 as both an active pickup and a passive pickup.
