The Mayones Regius 6 Burl Maple 5A Galaxy Eye Purple is a guitar that will make you look twice. The glossy Galaxy Eye Purple finish highlights the erratic, organic grain of the Burl Maple 5A top in a way that looks different in every light. The Swamp Ash body with an antique oil matte finish on the back forms a perfect counterpart: warm, natural and weathered. No two pieces are identical.
The 11-ply Maple/Mahogany/Wenge/Amazakoe neck with Pale Moon Ebony 5A fretboard and C-profile plays fast and precise, with 24 Stainless Steel frets and a 16" radius. The Velvetrone Ironside (bridge) and Solium (neck) humbuckers with brushed nickel black hex bolts are controlled via volume, tone and a 5-way switch. Hipshot fixed bridge and GripLock tuners, 25.4" scale, including soft case.
The Pale Moon Ebony 5A fretboard is one of the most exclusive wood types used by Mayones. The characteristic light spots and streaks in the dark ebony give the fretboard a unique appearance that perfectly matches the premium look of the Burl Maple top.
