Rabea Massaad is one of the most progressive rock guitarists of our time. In projects like Toska , The Totemist , and his own Grinding Gears , he showcases brutal riffs, dystopian chord progressions, and impressive lead parts. His collaboration with Music Man has resulted in a truly fantastic-sounding instrument. The starting point for this signature guitar is the Sabre model. The first interesting modification is the neck; it has been completely tailored to Massaad's specifications. The result is a somewhat atypical, robust neck profile for a Music Man, but oh so comfortable!

The pickups are Massaad's signature Bare Knuckle set: the Silo humbucker. These are known for their powerful output with a very defined midrange and tight bass. This allows the guitar to hold its own, even when you crank up the gain on your amp. The coil-split sounds are fully dialed in for clear, sparkling chords.

That clarity and tightness are further accentuated by the okoume body and an extremely stable roasted maple neck. Thanks to the ebony fretboard and high frets, this Music Man's neck is incredibly agile, making playing faster parts a breeze. What a fantastic and promising collaboration!
