With this Private Stock limited run - of only 85 copies - Paul Miles' team adds a completely new dimension to a contemporary classic. All the goodness of the Special 22 is present: the comfortable 25" scale, semi-hollow construction and the interplay between the 2 humbuckers and the narrowfield remain the heart of the instrument. This limited edition is made of beautiful wood from the Private Stock Vault. To start with, there's that amazing figured maple top. This is finished in Citrus Glow, a finish reserved for the Private Stock, which contrasts beautifully with the Smoked Black Hardware. The body and neck are made of Black Limba , which forms a nice combination with the fingerboard, which is made of Ziricote, just like the truss rod cover and headstock veneer.With the Special Semi Hollow in Citrus Glow you have a guitar in your hands that not only looks impressive, but also sounds breathtaking thanks to the coming together of the carefully chosen wood and a flawless construction.
