The Flying V that instantly grabs your attention — and never lets go

The Spira Limited Edition V-420 BKY is a guitar that needs no introduction. Its glossy black finish with yellow pinstripe screams attitude, but behind that exterior lies an instrument that is also technically accomplished. Whether you're taking your first steps into the world of electric guitar or have been playing for a while, this Flying V invites you to play and keep playing.

The roasted poplar body delivers a direct, warm tone with a clear attack, while the Canadian roasted maple neck with a Modern D-profile feels smooth and fast. The Hi-graded Ebony Tech fretboard with 24 jumbo frets and a 14" radius makes fast runs and smooth bends effortless. The Spira Villain™ humbucker in HH configuration (ceramic magnet, 12k output) delivers an aggressive, punchy high-gain sound that's perfect for rock, metal, and everything in between.

Furthermore, the V-420 is equipped with a double-locking Sung-il tremolo system (Made in Korea) and locking tuners for optimal tuning stability, even with the most extreme tremolo effects. The controls are deliberately kept simple: 1 volume and 1 tone knob, so you can focus on what really matters. All hardware is finished in black, matching the sleek and professional character of this guitar. Broken in and adjusted by us for optimal playability.
