His signature guitar had to reflect that: ready for any context, without compromise. The Garnett Red finish on the modern body shape with a black headstock also makes a visual statement.

The two Thornbucker Plus humbuckers are at the core of this guitar's sound. They were specially developed for Pete's wide dynamic range: warm and expressive in the neck position for singing leads, powerful and defined in the bridge position for riffs and rhythm. The 5-way selector also makes the in-between positions available, with sparkling in-between sounds you wouldn't expect from a standard HH configuration. The chambered Mahogany body adds an open, resonant quality to the tonal character that solid Mahogany instruments sometimes lack.

The Mahogany neck with an Indian Rosewood fretboard and Even C Slim profile (.800"-.880") plays fast and precise, with a 10"-14" compound radius and 24 Jumbo Stainless Steel frets (.057"x.110") for maximum playing speed and durability. The Wilkinson WVS130 Locking Saddle Bridge provides excellent tuning stability. Suhr locking tuners, 25.5" scale, hardcase included.
