Supro 1932R Royale 1x12 Combo

The Supro 1932R Royale Combo shifts from Class A sponginess to Class AB punch

The Supro 1932R Royale 1x12 Combo is a tube combo for guitarists looking for high headroom, dynamics, and a full low-end sound. The Supro BD12 speaker provides a solid foundation for your playing, while the responsive amplifier clearly highlights nuances in your pick attack. The Royale feels supple and lively, without the sound becoming harsh or cold. This keeps it expressive, both when playing softly and when you turn the amplifier up further.

Using the switch on the front panel, you can choose between Class A at 35 watts and Class AB at 50 watts. Class A retains more of that supple, spongy response and emphasizes the mid-tones. Class AB sounds tighter and more direct, with more low-end and a faster attack. This allows you to adjust the amplifier to the sound you are looking for, for example when you want more control and definition during recording or on stage.

The 1932R features a spring reverb with a spacious, swampy character, an optional Boost, and a high-quality effects loop. Controls include Volume, Boost, Treble, Mid, Bass, Reverb Level, Reverb Dwell, and Master. The preamp uses three 12AX7 tubes, one 12AT7, and one 12DW7; the power section contains two 5881 tubes. This gives you extensive tone shaping and built-in reverb directly in the combo, without needing a large pedalboard setup first.

For external speakers, there are one 8-ohm and two 4-ohm outputs. Three TS jacks are intended for an optional footswitch for Boost, Reverb, and the effects loop. The cabinet is made of poplar and finished in Black Scandia tolex. With dimensions of 52.07 x 24.13 x 48.26 cm and a weight of 22.2 kg, the Supro 1932R Royale is a sturdy 1x12 tube combo with a lot of character.
