The Grand Orchestra that proves maple and Sitka Spruce are an unprecedented combination

The Taylor 618e is Taylor's most distinctive instrument in the Grand Orchestra body: a large, deep body that produces an unrivaled full and deep sound. Solid maple back and sides give the 618e an extremely transparent and bright character. Maple hardly colors the tone, which means the guitar fully adapts to the player: what you put in, comes out exactly as is. That makes the 618e an instrument for the guitarist who wants control over their own sound.

The V-Class bracing takes the Grand Orchestra to another level. The dynamic range is exceptionally wide, the sustain long, and the response to attack direct and precise. Koa purfling, a paua rosette, and mother-of-pearl Mission inlays give the guitar a luxurious look that matches the instrument's caliber. The Antique Blonde finish emphasizes the natural beauty of the maple. The ES2 pickup system delivers a faithful amplified sound that completely preserves the clarity and transparency of the acoustic tone.

The neck is made of Tropical Mahogany with a satin finish and an ebony fretboard. The guitar comes with a luxurious Western Floral hardshell case.

The Taylor 618e is for the guitarist who seeks the biggest, brightest, and most transparent sound in the Taylor lineup, packaged in an instrument that looks as impressive as it sounds.
